Finally - a book for young children that focuses on accurate dog body language descriptions, visuals, and safety. Plus, my kids love the call to action to be a part of the “Bubble Mission!” I can’t wait to share this resource with our friends, family, and community.

I like how easy it makes the conversation about animal safety. Instead of lectures or rules, it gives kids a visual idea they can actually remember and use. It’s the kind of book that works just as well for a cozy bedtime read as it does for starting small conversations about kindness and respect.

We are a big reading family with two dogs and young kids. We thought we knew everything about raising them together, but Lola and the Bubble Mission gave us a total "aha!" moment.
The concept of the "bubble" was so easy for my kids to understand. After just a week, I noticed our dogs are actually more comfortable; they don't even get up from their beds when the kids run into the room anymore because they trust their space will be respected. This book changed our dogs' lives!

My children loved learning all about the Bubble Mission.  As an animal lover myself, I appreciated how the story uses a fun, imaginative analogy to teach kids the importance of respecting animals. The book does a wonderful job of showing dog body language like how a dog might be saying, “Please don’t touch me right now.” It’s an engaging and gentle way to help children understand boundaries and empathy toward animals. Highly recommended for families and young readers!

My 8-year-old daughter read Lola and the Bubble Mission cover to cover. When she finished, she looked at me and said, ‘Mom, where’s the second part?’ She loved everything—the story, the illustrations, and the fun facts about Lola, Hela, and Daisy. We absolutely adore this book. 10/10 recommend for everyone, truly.

This is such a helpful book - I wish we had found it sooner! It frames the boundaries dogs need from young children in a way that lets them understand. My girls love it and reference the bubble often!

My family and I LOVE this book!! The story is adorable, and it teaches kids (and adults) different behaviors that make dogs either approachable, or not! The artwork is so sweet, and I love the fact sheet about the author's own dogs at the end. There is also a fun QR code for kids to scan. I can't say enough good things about this book, my 4 year old is really picking up on the bubble message and I find it so educational, as well!

Highly recommend this book for dog families with kiddos! We learned so much about meshing the lives of dogs and kids in the Dog Meets Baby courses (also strongly recommend for expectant parents) but this book is the perfect icing on the cake for the littles to understand too! This will be our go to gift for Christmas, baby showers, birthdays, just because occasions - parents and children alike will love the precious story and adorable illustrations, and it's so well written to help all ages understand why our dog friends need their bubbles!

I absolutely love this book, and more importantly, so does my 5-year-old daughter! We've been looking for a way to teach her about dog safety, and the 'bubble' concept in this book is brilliant. It's so simple for her to visualize Lola's pink bubble or Hela's sparkly blue one.

She's started noticing 'dog language' and it has completely changed how she interacts with our pets. She now understands they feel safer in their bubbles.

The 'Bubble Mission' makes learning safety feel like a fun game rather than a list of rules. Highly recommend for any household with kids and dogs.
